24th January 2012:

A big welcome to the world to my beautiful nephew Rowan born 20/1/12.

Here he is at 10 minutes old and already a very cute, healthy baby boy.

His parents are my younger sister Angela and her husband Karel.

I will cross my fingers that he wants to be a Junior Handler :)))

21st January 2012:

Well a New Year has begun and I think it will be a big one for us here at Vevey bernese.

Already Jersey is a Champion at only 10 months and 10 days old with a bunch of Group and In Show Placements.

Lily is just behind Jersey in points for her title and has won even more at Group and In Show Level than Jersey!

Wulfy in New Zealand started his 2012 show season with his 22nd Challenge, a run for Best in Group, Best Junior in Group and his Championship Title (in NZ dogs must get one more Challenge after 12 months to title), he has a FABULOUS 2011 winning Number 1 Rising Star for the Utility Group in NZ!!!!!!!

Also Number 4 All Breeds Rising Star and Number 2 BMD all ages, with Number 1 being Ch Anahera Noblesse Oblige his house mate!'

The amount of classes in group and in show he has won are amazing, he even won a Group 1st and BIS 2nd from the puppy class!!!

Jersey and Lily's Hip and Elbow scores are in already with Lily recieving 1:1 hips and 0:0 Elbows and Jersey with 3:1 Hips and 0:0 elbows

Equivalent to International Grade A and B..... I am a very, very happy breeder!!!!!

(I have started making Jersey and Lily their own pages...they will be up soon ...ish :)))

Our C litter will come into their own this year now they have all hit 6 months old and maybe we will even welcome some new members to our family in 2012 fingers crossed!

Without out our wonderful friends sharing their dogs / lines with us and our Co-owners none of this would be possible....THANKYOU from the bottom of my heart ;)))

26th November 2011:

Jersey has all the points she needs for her Australian Champion Title at only 10 months and 10 days old, as soon as the paperwork is processed she will officially be Australian Champion Vevey Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing :)

Her last 2 shows she has won Best Junior in Group and Best Junior in Show.

Wulfy and Nathalie continue to shine in NZ, Wulfy now has 17 challenges at 10 months old (8 are needed to become a NZ Champion) and today was x2 Best Puppy in Group and Best Puppy in Show.

Wulfy and Nat winning Best In Group, Runner Up Best Exhibit in All Breeds SHow and Best Puppy In Show 12/11/11.

12th and 13th November 2011:

Nathalie Sperling (Blassis BMD) and Wulfy won Best In Group, Best Puppy in Show and Runner Up Best In SHOW today!!!!!

He also won first place in Puppy Sweepstakes and is now New Zealand's Number 1 Utility Rising Star.

BIG HAPPY FACE! :) AN Awesome achievement for a 9 month old puppy and his super owner/ handler /mummy Nat.

Wulf also won Best Puppy in Show on Sunday!

5th November 2011:

Wulfy (Vevey Beowulf V Blassis) and Nat Best puppy In Group in NZ again today...they are closing in fast on the number 1 Utility Rising Star Award!!!!

Even at such a young age (9months) Wulfy would arguably have to be one of the most successful Berners ever in New Zealand.

Below is the gorgeous Banana-Rama in Tassie winning Best of Breed and Best Puppy In Group today.

Even at only 9 months of age, the Vevey B Litter have exceeded all my hopes and expectations for them.

I am so proud of each and every one of them.

29th / 30th October 2011:

Jersey (Vevey Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing) and Lindsay (me!) having mummy love at the show!

This weekend Stella and Howard had their first shows with excellent results.

Under Mr Cleland on Saturday, Best Baby girl was Vevey Champagne Supernova (Stella) Best Baby Boy and Best Baby of Breed was Vevey Chemical Romance (Howard)

Howard went on to win Best Baby Puppy In Group!

Jersey was Best Female and Runner Up Best of Breed, she is now 3/4 of the way to her Champion title at just 9 months old.

Sunday Howard was again Best Baby of Breed and Best Baby Puppy In Group under Dr Girling.

In New Zealand Wulfy (Vevey Beowulf V Blassis) won Best of Breed and Best Puppy In Group ....Both days!!!!

23rd October 2011:

Well Nat and Wulfy are still on fire in New Zealand, Wulfy got the last Challenge needed for his NZ title today. He has beaten every dog shown in NZ so far and is still only just 9 months old. According to the rules he must get one more challenge after 12 months to officially get his Champion title so we're expecting a new Champion Wulfenhoffer in January :))

He also won Best Puppy In Sweeps today beating 48 other puppies of all breeds.

So proud of Nathalie and Wulfy. Love you guys x

15th October 2011:

Not to be out done by her spunky brother Otto, Arizona won Best Baby Puppy in Group at her first show too! Go Colleen, Steven and Miss Arizona :))

I can't wait for Stella and Howard to hit the ring later this month.

14th October 2011:

A BIG congratulations to Sue Young and Otto Junior (aka Vevey Cruise Control) at their first show today, a very successful day with a BEST BABY PUPPY IN GROUP! Go Sue and Otto!!!

Colleen, Steve and Arizona in Tasmania have their first show tomorrow- Have fun guys!

Stella and Howard will have their first show later this month, Huge thanks to those promoting Vevey babies in other states, I have a feeling 2012 is going to be a good one ;)

5th October 2011:

It's been a very successful few weeks for the Vevey B Litter with Jersey, Lily, Wallace and Wulfy all picking up points to their Championship titles. Rama has had a break from the showring while her owners were in Melbourne winning Best Of Breed at the Royal Show with her kennel mate Mimi (wooooooo!)

Several classes in Group were picked up by Lily and Jersey over the Grand Final weekend and Wallace did us proud while staying here on holidays by keeping all 4 feet on the ground for a whole lap of the show ring :D Big Thumbs up Wally!

Once again thanks to Jassie (Becaz Akitas) and Jo (Bordalaska Alaskan Malamutes) with help handling the kids.

25th September 2011:

We had a lovely weekend of showing, Jersey won 2x Best Female beating all much older Berners and earnt a bunch of points toward her Champion title. Lily was 2x Reserve Best Female and today BEST MINOR (6-9 month old) PUPPY IN SHOW Go Lily and Jersey!!! x

14th September 2011:

Here is our gorgeous new additions Howard (Vevey Chemical Romance AI) and Stella (Vevey Chapagne Supernova AI)

they are from our 'C litter' from Ch Zanzebern Martina H and Ch Alpenspirit Oceans Apart from Canada they were concieved from frozen semen thanks to Dr Girling from Noah's Crossing vet in SA.

One of their brothers Otto jnr and sister Arizona will be making an appearance at shows too!

Howard (was Stuart) at 7 weeks and Stella (was Amy) at 8 weeks

12th September 2011:

We had a great day at the Royal, Marti was 1st in Australian Bred Class and Jersey was 2nd in puppy class. The girls were fighting to hog the crowd but Marti won by plonking her self on the grooming table and lying down for maximum exposure ;))

In New Zealand Wulfy and Nat continue to shine with Wulfy winning Best Male from the Puppy class with 14 entries on Saturday and Best Of Breed from the Puppy class on Sunday with 16 BMD entries!

Wulfy is half way to his championship at only 7 months of age beating multiple imports and adult champions and is closing in on the Number one place holder of the Utility Group Rising Star!

WOOOOO go Wulfy and Nat we are so proud of you guys!

Bernese Mountain Dogs are being shown at Adelaide Royal Show on Thursday 8th September this year 9-5 pm.

We will be there with bells on for a fun day and hopefully some jam donuts ;)

6th August 2011:

More great show results from across the seas!

In Tasmania the Eastley's and Rama (Vevey Break The Ice) won Runner Up Best of Breed and Best Minor Puppy in Group the second week running!

In New Zealand Nathalie Sperling and Wulfy (Vevey Beowulf V Blassis) from 2 shows today won Reserve Best Male and Best Puppy In Group at the first show and the second show Best Male (Challenge Male), Runner Up Best Of Breed and Puppy in Group in tough competition! (Wulfy's first show eligible for Challenges :)))

After only 3 months of showing Wulfy is Number 2 Utility Rising STAR in New Zealand!!!!

WE NEVER DOUBTED FOR A SECOND THAT HE HAD STAR POTENTIAL BUT THS JUST PROVES IT :)))

Go babies..... they will be champions in NO time!!!!!

16th July 2011:

A BIG Happy 6 month birthday for our B Litter for yesterday, I love you guys!!!

In Rama's first show in Minor puppy Class she was Best Minor Puppy in Group, these kids are just phenomenal.

Congratulations to Banana Rama and her owner/handler Carol Eastley in Tassie!

In other news Angus' babies did very well at the BMDCSA Specialty show with Derek (Malicloy Blue Steel) winning Best Male, Runner Up Best Of Breed and Best

Intermediate In Show to his kennel mate Cosi who won Best Bitch, Best Aus Bred in Show and Best In Specialty Show (her second BISS in just 2 months!), Angus'

gorgeous daughter Pingu winning Reserve Best Bitch and his baby daughter Vindissa Passion Pop (Poppy) winning...

Best Baby Puppy In Show Wooooooooooo!

Congratulations to their owner/breeders Ben and Holly Taylor who cleaned up every class they entered!!!

3rd July 2011:

Nathalie Sperling and Vevey Beowulf V Blassis are on fire!!! Today there were 2 shows in Auckland, New Zealand and Wulfy won Runner Up Best Of Breed from the Baby Class and Best Baby Puppy in Group.

In the second show he was BEST OF BREED from the baby class beating 11 other dogs and bitches (including multiple titled adults) and then went on to win BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW!!!....again!!!

Wulfy is now the Number 2 Rising Star for Utility in New Zealand (DOL PS)!

I am so proud and thankful to our 'extended family' in NZ (Blassis) and Tasmania (Cloudforest) for loving and campaigning their Vevey babies.

12th and 13th June 2011:

Big Cheers for Carol Eastley with Vevey Break The Ice (Rama) in Tasmania and Nathalie Sperling in New Zealand with Vevey Beowulf V Blassis (Wulfy) both these puppies won Best Baby Puppy In SHOW at their respective shows on the weekend WOOOO!

Wulfy also was Best Of Breed over much older and Champion titled Berners!!!

7th June 2011:

Another one of Angus' babies has been scored with great results. Malicloy Blue Steel has 1:2 Hips (International Grade A) and 0:0 (Clear) Elbows.

Derek's dam is Vegamos Lady Of The Midnight Sun from Norway.

Here is a (tiny weeny!) pic of Wulfy in New Zealand winning Best baby In Show under Mrs Turner. and Jersey at the Specialty where she was 2nd out of 10 beautiful baby girls. The judge was Mrs Sharon C Smith from USA, a very well known and respected breed specialist.

9th May 2011:

Firstly a BIG Happy 3rd Birthday to Ginger and her littermates the Berntiers 'L' Litter!!!!

Ben from Malicloy BMD and I travelled to the BMDCV Specialty in Victoria this weekend and had a great time,

Lily and Jersey were so happy to meet so many people and did really well with Jersey winning 2nd and Lily winning 5th in a very large class of beautiful baby girls.

28th April 2011:

Well... the B babies show careers have started with a BANG!

Banana-Rama in Tasmania has won Best Baby Puppy in Group at every show she has been to and last weekend she was Best Baby Puppy in Show!!!

Here is Rama (Vevey Break The Ice) with her daddy Steve and Mummy Carol in Tasmania.

Wulfy in New Zealand has won Best Baby Puppy Of Breed at all but 1 of his 5 shows, Best Baby of Group 3 times and Best Baby in Show at the Nationals Prelude show today.

Wulfy (Vevey Beowulf V Blassis) In New Zealand with his mummy Nathalie.

Lily, Jersey and Wallace have all won Best Baby Puppy of Breed and Lily was Best Baby Puppy In Group last weekend under Mrs Taylor who imported one of the first Berners into Australia in the early 80's.

26th March 2011:

Some candids from our B Litter all have lovely homes and some will make their show debuts in April!

Jersey says wooooooooo Im a bird Im a plane!!! Banana Rama, Jersey, Wulfy and Lily (upside down) in the wrestling ring!

Marshall (Wulfy) and Ted (Chancellor) at 5 weeks old wrestling with mum Ginger. Then: Jersey, Berry (now Maisie) Ted (now-Chancellor) Marshall (now-Wulfy) and Banana-Rama!
